For the
first time since getting married and having kids, I decided
to do something for myself. I took the Anytime Fitness Total
Body Challenge. The last 12 weeks working with USA Elite
Trainers has been more rewarding than I ever anticipated.
Before starting the
Challenge, I was tired all the time, depressed about my
weight, had no physical strength and had gone up a size in
clothing. I knew I had to do something, so I signed up for
the Anytime Fitness Challenge. My first day of the challenge
was all talking. I thought "Wow, this isn’t bad, I can do
this." We got lots of information about food, training and
supplements. Let me just say by the third Saturday group
workout session we were WORKING OUT. I have never worked out
so hard in my life. During the workouts I would think to
myself why in the world did I sign up for this. But as my
attitude changed and my clothes were getting baggy on me, I
realized that this was exactly what I wanted to do. In
addition to the Challenge, I signed up for a personal
trainer, Tony Bonawit, to help me. Every morning I would
wake up and do the treadmill. I would meet with Tony three
times a week and the group would meet on Saturday mornings
for a group workout. It was such a great group of people to
be with too. Everyone was so nice to be around and it was a
lot of fun to watch people reach their goals.
Being in the gym and
learning how to work the equipment has helped me develop a
passion for working out. Working out will always be a part
of my life now. Since doing the Challenge, I have more
energy than ever, wearing clothes that I haven’t worn in
years, and eating much healthier. Going to the gym not only
made me feel better about myself physically but also
emotionally.
